La Jolla Real Estate

In our previous community blog, we talked about Fun Activities in Carlsbad and that it’s known as one of the “well-off cities” in California because of it’s numerous 5 star beach resorts. While La Jolla means “The Jewel”, the name doesn’t have anything to do with why La Jolla real estate is considered to be one of the most affluent communities in the whole United States. La Jolla stands by it’s name because of its beautiful natural scenery. Everything in this place speaks first class. From world class shopping to fine dining, to the gorgeous ocean views, the attractions in the village and The cove to its first class or should we say luxurious hotels.

The La Jolla real estate price has held up consistently for the past 5 years.  This is because this community is a very desirable place to live and vacation to. Why? Listed below are only some of the things you get to enjoy in the luxurious community of La Jolla.

  1. The Torrey Pines Golf Course.

  2. The Cove – The most photographed beach in San Diego where you can enjoy kayaking, snorkeling, paddle boarding and diving.

  3. The Windansea Beach – best for surfing

  4. La Jolla first class Shopping – La Jolla malls and boutiques have the world’s most luxurious brands for the rich and famous!

  5. First class dining choices – on any given street!

La Jolla real estate is indeed the epitome of “you get what you pay for”. In addition to a luxurious living in the La Jolla community, it is also home to institutions such as the Scripps Institution of Oceanography which is one of the oldest and largest centers for ocean and earth science research and the Stephen Birch Aquarium & Museum. La Jolla also has the renowned University of California San Diego and is also known to be the home of more than 400 Bio-Tech and software companies.

In 2002, La Jolla was named “The Best Place to Live in America”. A lot of Americans believe that La Jolla locals are snobbish, but the truth is people that live here are simply very dedicated to their community and how they can improve it. They love their home, and as you can see, for a very good reason.
